Exclusive Jamal Murray Interview with Vic Lombardi

Wednesday, June 29, 2016 | Denver Nuggets

Vic Lombardi interviews the Denver Nuggets' 2016 draft pick, Jamal Murray. They talk about how it feels to be picked number seven in the draft.

Lombardi asks about being raised in Canada and the pressure playing basketball over hockey, as well as how he ended up in Kentucky. Jamal played briefly with Emmanuel Mudiay and talks about the new combo guard role in the NBA. He role models his shooting and dribbling around Steph Curry.

Murray says he's 50/50 between playing for the Canadian team or the Nuggets Summer League. He mentions what he needs to improve on with his game, which is moving better. Vic tried mediating, which Jamal does regularly.
